You can’t learn unless you admit you’re wrong.

We’re terrible at admitting our own wrongness

Ask yourself, how do you respond to the fact that you’re wrong? How do you address and acknowledge your mistakes? Do you deny it and try to bring yourself out of it? Do you lose your temper and erupt? Do you feel offended and overthink it? Does it leave you aching and you can’t sleep at night? These are all common scenarios that we confront in our lives in one or another way.

Know one thing — we are all doing mistakes and we should not shy away from that, we should embrace it. It’s good that you stand by your beliefs, but you show a lot more character when you admit that you are wrong. Not only do you allow yourself to internalize the information but your humility to approach and acknowledge your mistakes enables you to move quickly and make ethical decisions, which in turn gives you enormous advantages in life overall.

We’re all human, we write and talk about things we learned from someone that wrote and talked about them before us. It’s normal for you to be wrong, it’s normal for them to be wrong. Everyone is worried about their mistakes, not yours, stop overthinking it.

It’s no secret that making mistakes will make you friends as well as enemies, but have some respect for yourself and don’t allow yourself to…
